The VW/Audi MQB platform is the perfect candidate for a sleeper street build or full-blown track monster. Whether it's a VW Mk7/MK8 Golf R, Audi 8V S3, or 8S TT 2.0TSi, the potential power of the TSI/TFSI engines is incredible. Simple bolt-ons and a tune can net you over 100 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque, but with great power often comes great heat.All that power requires powerful cooling, especially considering the MQB platform vehicles use coolant to cool the engine, transmission fluid, and oil. Even with up to two auxiliary heat exchangers, these vehicles can still see reduced transmission performance and oil temps well above the safe limit after a few laps around the track. Luckily, Mishimoto has a solution to keep your MQB VW or Audi cool and keep you on the track longer. The Mishimoto 2015+ VW/Audi MQB Performance Auxiliary Heat Exchanger is the perfect upgrade for your stock auxiliary heat exchanger, DSG cooler, or both! Our auxiliary cooler increases core volume by 52-percent and coolant capacity by a massive 106-percent over stock. The core of the Mishimoto aux cooler also utilizes louvered fins to effectively circulate air throughout the core and boost fin surface area by 68-percent. The dual-pass design balances flow with cooling performance for maximum efficiency, while strutted tubes throughout the core ensure durability through the twists and turns of the road or track. The included stainless-steel stone guard adds even more durability to this 2015+ MQB auxiliary heat exchanger by protecting it against road debris kicked up by the car you're about to overtake. Help keep your hot-hatch cool with the Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator designed for the 2015+ Volkswagen MK7/MK8 Golf TSI/GTI/R. The Golf GTI is the grandfather of the hot-hatchback, but even after seven generations, this sensational vehicle still needs assistance when it comes to keeping its cool. Here at Mishimoto, we are more than eager to overhaul the MK7/MK8's radiator design for more optimized performance. The stock radiator is adequate for daily driving in any iteration of the Golf and other MQB related cousins. The design struggles to keep up when under more harsh conditions. The thin core coupled with the plastic end tanks also sew the seeds of future cracks and leaks as the vehicle ages. We started from the ground up with the Mishimoto Performance Radiator, starting with a full-aluminum construction. From the mounting points to the inlet and outlet, the aluminum end tanks are sure to endure the test of time. Complete with precision TIG-welding to our core, the Mishimoto design is significantly less prone to leaks later down the road. To further increase our design's strength, we've incorporated struts into our core's coolant tubes, making this radiator much more resistant to twisting and flexing and effectively reducing the risk of a damaged core to nearly zero. Durability wasn't the only improvement on our mind, and we wanted to ensure a more efficient coolant temperature regulation for your Golf's engine. To do so, we expanded the core to 1.65in, along with precision adjustments to the fin design resulting in a 56-percent increase in core volume and 76-percent bump in external fin surface area. Combined with our 4.5mm fin height and louvered fin technology, this radiator is capable of reducing global coolant temperatures for a consistently cool hot-hatch. The 10th-gen Civic is an incredible platform for a daily driver, weekend autocross machine, or full track build. However, pushing the stock cooling system reveals it's one greatest flaw: an underperforming cooling system. To help solve this issue and keep your Civic pushing the limits longer, we've designed an extremely precise all-aluminum radiator that provides both enhanced durability and cooling efficiency. The foundation of the Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator is the 36mm-thick two-row core. Our engineers performed extensive testing to create a fin composition that would produce maximum heat transfer. This efficient core is fully TIG-welded to precise aluminum end tanks, which mate perfectly with all factory equipment. Our radiator features a massive 43-percent increase in fluid capacity over stock for increased cooling capacity and endurance on the track or street. In addition, the Mishimoto core design provides a 36-percent increase in external fin surface area to help transfer the heat out of your coolant and into the air.
